About Natural Glow Guides
Honest hair and skin research, without the sales pitch
Our Story
Natural Glow Guides started from a fairly ordinary frustration: searching for honest answers about hair loss and skincare, and mostly finding pages written to sell something rather than to actually help. Every search seemed to lead to a product page dressed up as advice, or an article that read like it was written by no one in particular, for no one in particular.
The Site is run by Harsh Vardhan, who built Natural Glow Guides as a place to slow down and do the research properly — reading through ingredient studies, comparing product formulations, and writing about hair and skin topics the way you'd want a knowledgeable friend to explain them, not the way a brand wants them explained. You can find more about the person behind this Site on LinkedIn.
What began as a handful of articles has grown into a broader library of guides, comparisons, and free interactive tools, all built around the same starting idea: readers deserve content that respects their time and their intelligence.
Our Mission
Our mission is simple to state and harder to consistently deliver on: help readers make informed decisions about their hair and skin through content that is well-researched, accurate, and easy to understand.
That means we would rather publish a shorter, honest answer than a padded article designed to rank well but tell you very little. It means explaining why an ingredient or routine works, not just repeating that it does. And it means being upfront when the evidence is mixed, incomplete, or still developing, instead of pretending certainty we don't have.
What We Cover
Natural Glow Guides focuses on a few connected areas, rather than trying to be everything to everyone:
- Hair care — everyday routines, scalp health, and practical fixes for common hair concerns
- Hair regrowth — explanations of what the evidence actually supports, from topical treatments to in-clinic procedures
- Natural skincare — ingredient-focused guides and simple, sustainable routines
- Beauty tips — practical, low-hype advice you can actually use
- Product reviews — honest comparisons based on formulation and real-world feedback
- Evidence-based wellness guides — and free interactive tools, such as our Hair Fall Routine Finder and Hair Growth Timeline Calculator, to help you apply what you read
Our Editorial Process
Every article on this Site starts with research, not a blank page waiting to be filled. Before we write about an ingredient, treatment, or product category, we look into reputable sources: clinical and dermatological literature where it exists, manufacturer ingredient disclosures, and how a topic is discussed across multiple independent sources rather than just one.
From there, articles are drafted in plain, direct language, reviewed for clarity and accuracy, and edited to remove anything that reads like filler. If a claim can't be reasonably supported, it doesn't make it into the final piece. We would rather leave a gap and say "the evidence here is limited" than fill it with a confident-sounding guess.
Our Commitment to Accuracy
Product recommendations on Natural Glow Guides are based on ingredient research, publicly available product information, and genuine user feedback — not on which brand offers the best sponsorship deal. We are not paid to feature or favorably review any product, and a brand's advertising spend has no bearing on whether or how we write about it.
A quick honesty check: we don't have dermatologists or licensed medical professionals on staff, and we don't claim to. Our strength is careful research and clear writing, not clinical credentials. That's exactly why we're upfront that this Site is for general educational purposes only and is not a substitute for advice from a qualified doctor, dermatologist, or other healthcare provider.
Hair and skin respond differently from person to person, and formulations and pricing can change after we publish. We update older articles when we become aware of meaningful changes, but we'd still encourage you to double-check ingredient lists and current details directly with the manufacturer before buying anything.
Affiliate Disclosure
Some links on Natural Glow Guides, including links through the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, are affiliate links. If you click through and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission — at no extra cost to you. This never changes the price you pay, and it never changes which products we choose to recommend; we decide what to feature based on research and merit first; the affiliate relationship is simply how the Site stays free to run.
